1. About these terms

Uploadock is operated by [Operator legal name], at [Business/contact address and country]. Contact: [Public support and privacy email]. By using Uploadock, you agree to these terms. If you use it for an organization, you must have authority to act for that organization. You must be legally able to enter this agreement.

Our Privacy Policy explains our data practices, including optional analytics and technical error diagnostics when enabled. Agreement to these terms does not itself grant consent to optional analytics. Uploadock is an independent service and is not Google or endorsed by Google.

2. What the service does

Folder owners connect Google Drive and create links that let guests send files without an Uploadock or Google account. File contents transfer directly to Google Drive using the owner’s authorization. The service does not provide a permanent upload history, delivery receipts, or a backup of your files.

3. Responsibilities of folder owners

• Connect only an account and destination you are entitled to use. By creating an active request, you authorize Uploadock to initiate guest uploads to that destination on your behalf, including while you are signed out.
• Explain to senders who is collecting their files and why, and meet your own privacy and legal obligations for those files.
• Keep upload links and passwords appropriately private. Anyone with a usable link and any required password may submit files.
• Manage Google storage capacity, sharing permissions, received files, and any Google charges. Uploaded files consume the connected owner’s available storage.
• Check received files in Drive and use appropriate security precautions before opening them.

4. Responsibilities of guests

Confirm that you trust the recipient and have permission to send the files. Upload only content you are entitled to share. Sending a file makes it available to the recipient and potentially others allowed by the recipient’s Drive permissions. To remove a delivered file, contact the recipient; removing it from your local upload queue does not delete it from Drive.

5. Prohibited use

Do not use Uploadock for illegal content, infringement, harassment, fraud, distributing malware, unauthorized disclosure of personal or confidential information, or bypassing Google’s policies or storage restrictions. Do not attack the service, guess credentials, access another owner’s account, or deliberately overload APIs. We may limit or suspend abusive access and respond to lawful requests.

Report abuse to [Public support and privacy email]. Describe the issue and provide only the minimum information needed to investigate; avoid forwarding file contents or active credentials unless a secure reporting method has been agreed.

6. Ownership and permissions

You retain your rights in your content. You authorize the processing and transfer needed to carry out your requested upload. These terms do not give Uploadock ownership of your files or permission to use them for advertising. Rights between sender and recipient depend on their own agreement.

7. Availability and transfer limitations

Transfers depend on Google, available storage, your network, and your browser. Browser suspension, closed tabs, expired sessions, or revoked permissions may interrupt uploads. Progress reaching 100% does not itself confirm that Google accepted the file; if confirmation is uncertain, check with the recipient before starting another upload.

Closing, rotating, expiring, or deleting a request prevents new upload sessions but may not stop a session already issued by Google. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, background transfers, malware detection, or recovery of lost files. Keep your own copies until receipt is confirmed.

8. Disconnecting and ending use

You may stop using Uploadock at any time, disconnect Google Drive, or delete your account. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security issues, legal requirements, or service operation. Deleting an Uploadock account does not delete files already stored in Drive. Google authorization and service availability also remain subject to Google’s terms and account controls.

9. Liability and your legal rights

To the extent allowed by applicable law, the service is provided as available without promises beyond those expressly stated here. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or removes mandatory consumer rights. Any jurisdiction-specific liability limits, governing-law provisions, or dispute process must be reviewed once the operator’s location and intended markets are confirmed.
